A closer look at the "Apex Wallet"

LOAD
There are two separate spots to load a signed card in the "Apex Wallet". A main central component and a smaller zippered compartment. In addition to playing cards, the wallet takes rings, coins and other small objects seamlessly into a sealed envelope inside the zippered compartment.

PEEK
A business card, billet or playing card can be locked away in the middle of the wallet. You can even show the wallet from all sides. Then, when the moment is right, you can secretly get your peek with a one-handed, single-finger activation that goes completely unnoticed. No flaps, electronics or need to ever go back into, or open, the wallet.

SWITCH
When looking at its minimalist design, you'd never believe that the "Apex Wallet" also has two switching compartments that allow for incredibly visual switches of poker size playing cards, cash, coins, receipts or other similar small items. When combined with the card-loading ability, you unlock a whole new world of card magic potential like a blank card transforming into a signed card, a stunning torn and restored card and so much more. As the main switcher section has a magnetic lock, you can even let your participant open the wallet themselves.

That's not all though. As an added bonus, the size of the large switching section is big enough to serve as a one-way forcing "bag" for switching audience billets out for your own. It can be done right in front of their eyes with no weird movements. Combined, the two switching compartments amplify the discreet switching possibilities and give the option for 2- or 4-way outs.

What's in the Box?

  • Handmade crazy-horse leather "Apex Wallet" (in black or brown)
  • 2x card-to-wallet loading sides
  • Small object loader (for coins, rings, etc.)
  • Sample envelopes
  • Access to 2.5 hour tutorial teaching you everything you need to know

The beautiful, slim, and ultra-modern "Apex Wallet" is the culmination of 2 years of development, multiple prototypes and over a year of rigorous testing and refinement in both daily use and in professional working environments. It has been designed from the ground up to be an everyday carry wallet with the unique features needed to elevate your close up magic and mentalism.

Customer reviews for Apex Wallet (MK2)

Excellent wallet, comes in nice presentation box, and you can use the insert to display two of your favourite decks. Comes with several videos from how do possible repairs, to a more indepth on how the different aspects of the wallet works, to demos, for me this is the perfect one, it's an all in one wallet, from using billets or playing cards, from peeks, vanishes re appear or switch, also has a quiver vanish and re appear or switch, so many effects weather using playing cards, billets, coins or even rings, comes with three slides, one is specially designed for coins and rings, the other two are for cards, also comes with several envelopes which comes in two different sizes. And you can store real coins, and folded notes in the zipper compartment, and credit cards in the slots for general use as a slimline EDC, and still use the rest of the wallet for it's magical purpose, without having to remove your coins and notes etc. Even have the peek facing the spectator and the spectator definitely won't see the peek, when the magician wants to see the peek you turn the wallet facing you then do a sneaky very easy move to see the peek. This wallet is the Swiss army knife version, plus this includes the quiver wallet within this apex wallet, That's what I call great multi purpose magic wallet.

  • Roger asks: Apex wallet. Could you please tell me how CLEAR is the peak. Thanks. Roger

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The peek is very clear from the performer's perspective. There is a slight tint on it but that is because anyone in front, to the left and right of you will not be able to see it.
  • Anthony asks: Is this for the black or brown?

    • 1. Jim answers: You can choose the color when you click the green add to cart button.

  • Peter asks: do you have to remove your ID from the wallet ID pocket to use the peek?

    • 1. James answers: having watched trailer I would have to say yes as your ID would pretty much be covering the peek window
    • 2. Garry answers: Q Re: do you have to remove the card. Only the face Card slot has to be removed, but here is another business card slot, but the way round this is if you want to use the face slot then have a business card, this is then a good excuse to remove the card, then hand it out, the peek will not be seen by the spectators, if you follow very easy video instructions.

  • Ian asks: To load an object into the envelope, do you have to use a slide or does Apex keep the envelope open with internal tabs?

    • 1. Ian answers: I am answering my own question, having seen excellent coverage of the Apex by Saturn Magic. The Apex has no tabs, a great shame; this could not be used as an EDC if you wanted to load a ring or card, as rather obtrusive slides are required to keep envelopes from sealing. Tabs would have corrected this as in the JOL or INTO wallets, which are always set and ready to perform with no set-up. I love the peek-and-change methods tho.
    • 2. Mark answers: The slide for the zipped section can be cut down flush with the wallet so it can be carried daily and not get in the way, it is not mentioned in the ad copy but is covered by the instructions how to use it that way.
