Beautiful flourish, easy to understand instruction...
I love this flourish. It's short but elegant, and has a sort of mechnical flair about it. It looks just great, from the performer's angle and the spectator's as well. The move is taught slowly, step by step and in great detail, so you can't possibly have a lack of understanding in the method. The rest is just practice. In my opinion, this flourish would be more likely intermediate than advanced. I got the hang of it pretty quickly and after about a month of trying it out here and there, it just gets memorized by your muscles. You'll see that eventually you don't even need to think about what you're doing, it'll just happen on its own. It's sort of a knack, like any short flourish, so just play with it.
This is a nice flourish once you get the hang of it!
It's nice to look at, and not to difficult to do. it's the first flourish I tried to learn. I don't think I'd use it normally, but it did cause me to start thinking a little differently about how cards can move. Very creative. I'm going to keep playing with it to see if I can turn it into a blind cut. Until then it doesn't do me a lot of good.
